ONE-OF-A-KIND OUTDOOR FUN
Some animals that we will be searching for include bottlenose dolphins. These acrobatic hunters teach their young how to slap and stun fish so they work less hard and use echolocation to detect large objects and schools of fish.
Manatees! These gentle giants of the ocean are truly amazing and feed locally with their babies. Manatees can live in fresh and saltwater. They can get up to 13ft long and can hold their breath for 20 minutes! Wow!
Remember, any animals we spot want to be respected, meaning, we do not chase or invade their space. That type of behavior could potentially lead to behavioral changes which would result in changing their feeding patterns and affect future generations and populations. They are protected by the law.
